This Apple like Mikey Mouse approach to things will be welcomed by the average user.
Windows Live Movie Maker includes an integrated up-loader for publishing on YouTube. To post your Pictures to Facebook, a plug-in is available.

The Facebook plug-in allows you to easily upload your pictures and videos to Facebook including the peoples tags you may have created.

Transparent Fonts for Photo Site
My exercise to create a photo website lead to find a way to create transparent fonts. The photo blog is a project based on light and transparency. Transparent fonts and transparent glass like backgrounds are basic elements. The fonts are the easier of the two as the below samples show.
The samples have been created in Photoshop and tested on various backgrounds. The first text looks like cut out, the second is an emboss style and the third is transparent.

Google Top 10 Media Strategy using Semiomantics XOM
Reaching Google Top 10 ranking under significant keywords assures visibility and traffic. The recently released Semiomantics XO has proven to be the best framework for quick indexing and high listing.
So far test have been conducted mainly with written content. Therefore we have launched a new test series to measure the Google Top 10 performance of customized Semiomantics XO scripts in connection with media.
Google Top 10 with Semiomantics Media Framework
Semiomantics XO is an extremely flexible script. The XO release candidate presented at the August Ycademy Seminar is just one step from completion. Last modifications concern
- the style sheet where more commented variables are added for easy customization by any user.
- the semantics dictionary for optimized media tagging.
- the on board SEO module.
Our Google Top 10 Strategy is implemented in the style and the theme scripts as well as in the modifications brought to the WordPress back-bone. In fact, the final commercial release of Semiomantics XO will run without any plug-ins for standard web sites.
Why Semiomantics XOM for Google Top 10 Results?
The trend away from written communication to increased use of Media, namely images, video and pod-casts means that we need to be able to draw search engine’s attention to content delivered in formats the search engines can not read, such as images, flash or sound tracks.
Semiomantics XOM (for Media) is a customized XO version with an add-on module for advanced integrated semantic media tagging. The purpose is to conquer Google Top 10 on the web search as well as on the image or media search without written content other than the meta content.
The XOM Prototype
For the purpose of the XOM development we have set up a new site at Alexandra Nestoridou. The site is indexed and listed on Google. The XO theme has been modified to show only images or other media supports on the front page, no written posts. We have left the post titles, date and author on display for easy surfing, however they can easily be removed as well without impact on the Google Top 10 performance.

To start with we are using the site as a photo CMS, to expand later to other media.

H&F Council is spending £1.1 million on extra Bobbies on the beat this year (09/10)
Crime is falling and people say policing is improving. In Shepherds Bush, 67% of people said the police are doing a good job, up 12 per cent.
No-go inner-city areas have been reclaimed.
Councils do not usually fund the Police, as this money is supposed to come from the Home Office, but the two squads have proved so successful in cracking down on crime that, from the first week of April, H&F Council is paying for a third extra squad – this time in Hammersmith

I would like to thank our borough for funding our 24/7 Safer Neighbourhoods Teams in Shepherds Bush Green ward. We have had a lot of successes, our streets are much safer, and our neighbourhoods are more vibrant. Businesses are now beginning to warm up to the advantages of coming on board, in particular our smaller more local businesses in W12. We are seeing a lot of good initiatives, let us all support the excellent work, we all have benefiting from these past 2 years, and fully support our safer neighbourhoods teams in W12, to continue the work into the future.

We have seen crime tumble in the two town centres with extra beat Bobbies. This approach, combined with more traditional beat policing, is the only way to tackle Britain’s growing epidemic of booze-fuelled town centre crime. It is not the Police’s fault that there are not enough of them in our town centres. It is up to the Home Office to release our Bobbies from all the pointless and obstructive red tape they have to endure. If they did this then maybe council taxpayers might not have to foot this bill. The stats prove that our beat Policing trials have worked and they should now be rolled out across London as standard.

Police Surgeries and Street Briefings
Local street briefings give the public firsthand knowledge of how their Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team is addressing crime and disorder issues and they can find out how they can contribute and help influence the way their area is policed.
If local residents have any concerns, the policing team will be there to listen and act, helping make Shepherds Bush Green ward one of the safest boroughs in London.
Police Surgeries and Street Briefings give members of the local community an opportunity to meet their Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team (SNT). They can seek advice and voice their concerns about policing in the area where they live.
This also gives the local SNT the opportunity to demonstrate the “Policing Pledge” and also gives the SNT more coverage of the area, as well as helping with “Community Engagement and Reassurance”. The importance of these meetings is self evident, as the level of cooperation and commitment is growing as is the confidence in our SNT from Shepherds Bush Green ward.
